Training Options Available From MNS

MNS provides training opportunities for businesses and organizations.  The “Manager as Mediator Seminar” described below is especially designed to train managers, middle managers and team leaders to use the skills of a mediator to manage people.

PROPOSAL:  MANAGER AS MEDIATOR SEMINAR

SUBJECT:      Use of the mediation model as a means to resolve workplace conflict, enhance working relationships and manage/supervise staff.

OVERVIEW: This seminar results in participants learning a single, practical, and frequently needed supervisory technique.  It does not simply review a wide range of general information about conflict resolution.  Instead there is an emphasis on depth, not breadth, of skill acquisition.  There is strong focus on "how to do it;" theory is limited only to that which directly supports the application of the technique.

  • stop conflict from eating up productivity in their departments/branches

  • estimate the surprisingly high cost of unresolved conflict
