ABOUT
GENDER
I am a male.
I can not do anything about this fact.
I like to work with both genders in therapy.
I feel like I can work equally as well with either men or
women. My language seems
to be fairly neutral. I
see myself as more of an old time “feminist” which I think
benefits both men and women. I
see both sexes moving away from role-based lives and role-based
relationships and more towards a process-based relationship predicated
upon equality between men and women.
I do not see men and women as enemies, but rather as partners
in a struggle to fulfill ourselves.
At each other’s hands we learn more about who we are, what we
value and how we want to live our lives both together and
independently.
