Business/Organization Mediation

Intra-Business Mediation
To help facilitate the managing of internal business relationships and grievances both horizontally and vertically within the organization.  Training seminars are also available for line staff.  Click here to see some of the organizations MNS has worked with.
Inter-Business Mediation
To help avoid lengthy and costly litigation procedures over minor, but important business issues between different companies or subsidiaries of the same company.
Family Business Mediation
Family dynamics (and extended family relationships) affect business decisions; and business pressures affect family life.  mediation provides an arena to work out practical agreements regarding both spheres.
Mediation For Government and Non-Profit Organizations
All organizations experience conflict, but in non-profit organizations the temptation not to deal effectively with conflict wastes time, money, and people power that is usually in short supply.  Governmental agencies, churches, and national associations can learn to use mediation techniques to facilitate their own functioning.
Church/ Synagogue Mediation
All congregations face conflicts either between staff and parishioners, member and member, or between staff and the larger church.  On-site intervention services, as well as training for the clergy and lay leaders, is available.
Schools Mediation
Designed to serve administrator and teaching staff to facilitate better team work by resolving interpersonal conflicts.
How MNS Can Directly Serve You
We are very proud to be one of the first firms to be affiliated with the Mediation Training Institute International (click link below). We provide direct mediation services, consultation and training to companies with organizational and personnel problems. We work with both management and labor to develop what is called "Conflict Resolution Design." These are mutually acceptable steps to be used before or in place of formal grievance procedures which are often extremely costly, time consuming and aggravating. Work place issues such as hiring/firing practices, sexual harassment and work team facilitation are good examples of our work. We particularly enjoy our training opportunities in teaching managers, union leadership and work team members unique conflict resolution skills designed for the work place.  Non-profit agencies can rarely afford the time or the money eaten up by controversy and conflict. Mediating interpersonal and inter organizational problems is a more efficient way to conduct business and get the most out of employees and volunteers. Our front line mediation services and training modules fit nicely with non-profits whether they be businesses, educational facilities (public/parochial schools, colleges, and universities), agencies, churches, synagogues or in particular, governmental entities.
